Fatty liver diet is one of the best and most healthy ways to treat and eliminate the symptoms of fatty liver, such as loss of appetite, abdominal pain on the right side, bloated stomach and nausea. This diet does not aim to cure the disease, but prevent it from getting worse. Thus, the following is recommended:
- Avoid the consumption of food high in fats, such as pizzas, sandwiches, yellow cheese and sweets
- Stop drinking alcohol
- Choose and eat healthy food, like fruits, vegetables, grilled white meat
- Add only 1 teaspoon of olive oil in the salad
- Drink plenty of water between meals
- Eat food rich in fibre
- Avoid: yellow cheese, curd cheese, chocolate, buttery biscuit, pastry, sausages, bacon, mayonnaise, butter and margarine.
The best food for the fatty liver are vegetables and fruits, skimmed milk, honey, rice, pasta, lean meat, eggs, jelly and white cheese. It is important to eat every 3 hours, even if you don’t feel hungry. Not feeling hungry after 3 hours means that you ate too much in the previous meal and this also needs to be adjusted.
By following this diet correctly, it is possible to eliminate majority of the abdominal fat and the fat inside the liver in approximately 2 months. But for best results, it is recommended to do some kind of physical activity regularly.
